My Love Story
💖 My Love Story
I want to share a little piece of my love life with you.
On the night of 18th November 2023, my family threw a big birthday party for my little sister. Mom invited so many people, it turned into a huge, joyful celebration.
But honestly… I was still healing from an 8-year relationship that had ended not long before. It was painful, but I wished him nothing but the best. At that point, I promised myself: no new relationships next year, not anytime soon! I was totally zoned out most of the night.
But fate had a different plan. 💫
That night, he (my husband now) came to the party with his family. Funny thing is, I had no clue who he was! He was sitting quietly next to his dad while I was chatting with his mom. I casually asked her, “Is that Alex’s friend?” (Alex is his brother.)
His mom laughed, patted me on the shoulder, and said:
“No, honey. That’s my second-born son.”
I was shocked—he didn’t even look like his parents!
So, I gently teased him: “Why do you look so sleepy? It’s still early!”
He smiled and said: “Oh, I’m so tired. I just got back from work, picked up Alex from the airport, and then we came straight here.”
I nodded in understanding, and his mom added with a laugh: “Actually, we forced him to come here.” Poor guy. 😂
The very next day, my mom got a call from his dad. Mom asked if she could share my number—and well, that’s how it all started. That same night, he texted me. And just like that, we began talking.
Fast forward: after only three dates, his parents asked for my hand. We got engaged for 4 months and then… we got married. 💍
Before the wedding, I asked him:
“Why did you agree to marry me so soon? Don’t you feel like this is arranged?”
He looked at me and said:
“At first, it did feel like an arranged marriage. But after a month of knowing you, my heart told me—it’s you. I believe I’ll be happy with you, and I’ll do my best to cherish you in this life.”
That was the moment I knew, He wasn't just my choice. He was God's gift.
Again...How my love story began? It's with a party, some teasing, a very sleepy guy... And a happily ever after.
✨ To my lovely husband, Edday:
I promised God that I’d always be the best version of myself for you. Through sickness or health, wealth or struggle, I’ll stand by your side. To this day, you are my home, my strength, and my biggest supporter.
I love you, always. ❤️
